She-ma Yis-ra-el
A-do-nai Eloheinu
A-do-nai E-chad.

You shall love your Eternal God with all your heart,
with all your soul, and with all your might.

And all these words which I command you on this day
shall be upon your heart.

And you shall teach them diligently to your children.

And you shall speak of them when you sit in your house,

when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand.

And they shall be for symbols between your eyes.

And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house |
and upon your gates.
So that you will remember and do all My commandments
and be holy to your God.
I am your Eternal God who led you out of Egypt to be your God.
I am your Eternal God.

Eili Eili....for use at the end.   Feel free to download the mp3.  Click here for a short Wikipedia entry about the song.  This recording is by Susan Colin.  The lyrics are as follows:

Ei-li, Ei-li, she-lo yi-ga-meir l’o-lam
Ha-chol v’ha-yam rish-rush shel ha-ma-yim,
b’rak ha-sha-may-yim t’fi’lat ha-a-dam.
Ha-chol v’ha-yam rish-rush s
hel ha-ma-yim,
b’rak h
a-sha-may-yim t’fi’lat ha-a-dam.

O God, my God, I pray that these things never end:
The sand and the sea, The rush of the waters,
The crash of the heavens, The prayer of the heart.
The sand and the sea,
The rush of the waters,
The crash of the heavens, The prayer of the heart.
