MITZVAH PROJECTS

A mitzvah literally translates into "commandment," but it also means a "righteous act."  For the Jewish community, doing a mitzvah means doing the right thing.

Tyler, TX has no shortage of wonderful non-profits that support our community.  Many members of Beth El are involved in these local organizations, and we want to share a partial list on this site.  Please consider supporting these non-profits through volunteering and/or fiancial assistance.

In no special order, below are some non-profits that our members support with their time and resources:

Tyler Day Nursery
PATH (People Attempting To Help)
Samaritan Counseling Center of Tyler
Hospice of East Texas
Habitat for Humanity
